Hours of food pantry: Monday-Friday from 8am to 2pm.
Right now in Indiana, 1 out of every 6 Hoosiers is struggling with hunger. Here at the Richland Township Food Pantry, we seek to provide nutritious (and tasty!) food to families in our community facing economic hardship. Through partnerships with Agency 10 on Aging and the Hoosier Hills Food Bank, we offer Indiana residents a wide range of grocery items to choose from.
By giving clients more control over their food options, we see a decrease in wasted food as well as an increase in client satisfaction. All residents in Indiana are welcome to use the pantry; please wait 2 weeks between visits, due to the large volume of clients. Also try to bring plastic or reusable bags for food.
If you are a proxy or need information on how to get started feel free to reach out. A “proxy” is an individual that is able to pickup for TEFAP individuals. For each proxy visit we will need a filled out proxy statement signed by the TEFAP individual.
If you have any questions, please contact Morgan at rttreception@bluemarble.net.
information needed for pickup
We will now only ask for your city and county for USDA reporting purposes. This data does not restrict anyone from our food pantry.
For the new year we will have a new TEFAP form that will need to be filled out. Residence will only need to fill this form out once a year.
